MERCEDES RIEGÉ

Actress, Singer, Writer, Director, 1st AD, Producer
(in no particular order)

MERCEDES RIEGÉ is a New York-based thespian and filmmaker. Mercedes attended AMDA's Conservatory of Musical Theatre and the School of Public Engagement at the New School. Like Lionel Messi, she was born and raised in Rosario (Argentina) and skips her S’s when speaking.

She participated in various readings and cabaret shows (Chasing Dreams, Bygone Dreams, Paper Kraine, AENY, Columbia’s New Play Festival, Rattlestick Theater’s Global Forms, etc.) Mercedes also worked as the Special Events Trainee at the Manhattan Theatre Club during their 2022-23 season. Mercedes produced multiple short films (Tape of '25, spilled milk, Selin, CANVASBACK, etc.) and finally gave herself a chance to direct her own short film: please call dad.

In 2026, you might find her at Blue Note Jazz’s box office, Manhattan Theatre Club’s front desk, a small black box theatre in the East Village, or power walking around the city with huge bags heading to set. Welcome to her website, where you can learn all about Mercedes’ silly adventures in New York’s entertainment scene.
